Caves

Hello! This is Sun with the Shrub Club News! Today it's about... caves!!!

Stalactites and stalagmites

Caves are almost everywhere, to lava holes to even underwater! Underwater caves? Yes, there are really caves that go underwater! Speaking of water, did you know that you can't have a cave without it? Stalactites and stalagmites need it to grow! What are stalagmites and stalactites? Stalactites hang from the ceiling. Here's a way to remember it. They hang tight (tite) to the ceiling! Stalagmites are growing from the ground. You recall it by thinking you might (mite) trip over it! Funny, huh! One cave, called Cave of the Mounds, in Wisconsin, was found by people blowing up dynamite on an old barn that had the cave underneath it. There is a trilobite fossil in it! A trilobite is like an octopus, only with a shell. Have you ever been to a cave? Make a goal to go to one!

Your assignment this time is to determine what your Shrub Name is (Mine's Sun) and put it in the comment button. (e.x. Solei - Sun.)  Also name one of your talents and if you want to be in Troop of the glowing Emerald as a prey-hunter, a battler, or a cave guard apprentice (like me, sun that makes gold stripes). We'll get you with a mentor in no time at all! See you later!!!
